Saldana & Luna Enter Spielberg's Terminal

Zoe Saldana (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) and Diego Luna (Open Range) are joining stars Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the cast of Steven Spielberg's Terminal, which begins shooting at the end of next month in Los Angeles.

Hanks plays a Balkan immigrant who makes an airport transit lounge his home after he learns that the borders of his war-torn nation have been blurred, voiding his passport and leaving him without a country.

Making friends among the airport employees in the United States, including a baggage handler (Chi McBride), he falls in love with a flight attendant (Zeta-Jones), which prompts his escape a year later.

Saldana joins Stanley Tucci in playing representatives of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Luna will play an airport employee. The project is set up at DreamWorks.

The set is huge, as you can see. What they had going on was a rain scene at night. They of course, supplied their own rain. Igor is standing guard with a double bladed pitch fork of some kind. It looks like he runs up to the camera as it approaches the draw bridge. It's gonna be a real creepy movie based on the costumes and set. I've got some more pictures of Frankenstein hanging in front of some blue screen, i'll send them when I get around to downloading them.

So one unseemingly unsuspecting day, they gang up on Joseph and sell him to slave traders, who, in turn, take him to faraway Egypt. There, he is sold to Potiphar, the captain of Pharaoh's army. Even as a slave, Joseph continues to stand out because of his hard work and Potiphar eventually comes to notice this. As a result, he puts Joseph in charge of his entire household. It is also here where Joseph meets Asenath, his first love interest. Potiphar's wife also notices Joseph, but in a romantic manner. One night, after attempting to "approach" him, he refuses her company and he is falsely accused of harming her. Because of this, he is thrown into prison by Potiphar. There, he meets the Pharaoh's baker and butler, whose dreams he interprets. After they are released, Joseph is left there for a few more years until one day when Potiphar released him because Pharaoh needs him to interpret a dream that has been torturing him lately - as he heard from his butler. Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dreams which resemble a famine of Egypt, and because of this Pharaoh puts Joseph in charge of the whole country and makes him the second most powerful man in the land. From here, Joseph meets Asenath again and they marry; and afterwards, he prepares the country for the famine. It is during this time when he is reunited with his brothers who come to Egypt for food. After scheming up a way to reveal himself to them, as well as meeting his new brother Benjamin, Joseph finally confesses himself after placing his cup in Benjamin's sack after a banquet; and there a heartwarming exchange of apologies and forgiveness occurs. Afterwards, Joseph invites his whole family to live in Egypt and is reunited with his father once more. From there, the next big thing, 'The Prince of Egypt,' begins.

About.com spoke with The Bourne Identity producer Frank Marshall about the upcoming sequel which sees the return of Matt Damon as Jason Bourne.

"The Bourne Supremacy, which is the second book in the three book series, we�ll start shooting in November. The director is Paul Greengrass who did Bloody Sunday and Tony Gilroy is writing the original script."

Matt [Damon] will be back. It will take place in Berlin, Moscow and India."

The film will have to stray from the novel, just as the original did. "It will be totally different. The stories in all three books are very dated. It's about the cold war and things that have all been resolved and are over with."

When they hit them, they discover that they only have $140,000, and Resnick says that, that's what they always carry. He pulls out a gun and shoots Porter in the back and leaves him to die. However, Porter manages to make it to a doctor, and get treated, when he recovers, he sets out to get Resnick and his share $70,000. He begins by approaching an associate of Resnick's. Porter then seeks out a prostitute named Rosie, whom he knew, she tells him where he can find Resnick, when he does he tells Resnick that he should go to his employers and ask them to give him back $70,000 of the money he gave them, Resnick says that's impossible but Porter "convinces" him to do it. Resnick then goes to his boss, Mr. Carter, who tells him that it's in their best interest to help Resnick deal with Porter. Carter orders one of his men to take Porter out but Porter's just too good for them. Resnick then asks his girlfriend who knows the people whom he and Porter stole the money from, and tells her to tell them where they can find him. When they do they are interrupted by two policemen, but they are crooked who are under the impression that Porter's going after $200,000-300,000 and are going to get it. Can Porter deal with all these people and still get his money.

Christopher Lee and Sean Astin Re-Team For May Day

THE makers of the cult horror film The Wicker Man are to return to Scotland to make an �11m film that will again explore the conflicts between the modern world and pagan worship.

May Day, which has been written by Robin Hardy, the director of The Wicker Man, will feature Christopher Lee, who starred in the 1973 cult classic. Veteran actress Vanessa Redgrave also will star.

Hardy, who will direct the film, said that May Day was not a sequel or a prequel to The Wicker Man but it explores the same themes and will be shot almost entirely in Scotland, with some scenes shot in Texas. Filming will start next year.

The project initially went under the name of The Riding of the Laddie and Hardy has recruited Sean Astin who is to play the leading role of an American preacher.

Astin, who starred in the children's film The Goonies, has been on the big screen again playing the Hobbit Sam in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

It has been rumoured for some time that Hardy was working on a new film, but he told The Herald that he had great trouble finding money to back the script, which has attracted interest from a number of leading actors.

May Day will be made by his own Eurocentre Productions and British Lion, who produced The Wicker Man.

Hardy is now approaching Scottish Screen, the film agency, for aid in making the film in and around the Glasgow area.

Hardy spoke the day before about 7000 people are expected to turn up for the Wicker Man festival, a two-day event staged this weekend in 60 acres of farmland in Dundrennan, Kirkcudbright.

"May Day is in the same genre as the Wicker Man, and the plan is to start shooting in Scotland early next year," he said.

"It is not a sequel or a prequel, but there are similarities - it is a very scary film and the pagan revival is part of the plot. Actors love the script and I am sure Scottish Screen will be able to help us make it." The plot concerns a young religious American couple travelling in Scotland who come into contact with proponents of a "pagan revival" in the countryside.

Lee, who has recently played the evil wizard Saruman in the three Lord of the Rings films, is to play a character "very similar" to his Lord Summerisle character in The Wicker Man.

"I can't imagine a better movie when it comes to great DVD stuff... We'll come up with separate DVDs for Volume 1 and Volume 2 and I'll do special stuff for each of those. Then we'll come up with a real big version with them both together but I won't repeat the special stuff I put on Volume 1 and Volume 2. I'll do something whole other from that. John Malkovich has signed to star in the comedy "Color Me Kubrick," the true story of a man who conned his way into London's high life by pretending to be reclusive director Stanley Kubrick, according to Hamburg's Film Board, the financier backing the picture. The script for "Kubrick" will come from the late director's longtime personal assistant, Anthony Frewin. Brian Cook, a Kubrick crew member on "Eyes Wide Shut," will direct the feature, which Studio Hamburg is producing. Billed as a cinema verite laffer, "Color Me Kubrick" is based on real-life events during the shooting of "Eyes Wide Shut" in London from 1998-99, when a man pretending to be the legendary director got into many of the city's most exclusive parties, restaurants and nightclubs. Playing on his willing victims' star-struck desire to believe, he was successful despite bearing no resemblance to Kubrick. German producer Thomas Schuhly, who is currently making The Untitled Alexander the Great Project with director Oliver Stone, plans to adapt Umberto Eco's novel Baudolino for the big screen.

The novel is set in the 12th century and explores the intriguing relationship between the Oriental world under the sultan Saladin and the popes, politicians and monarchs of the Christian world.

"I'm trying to get Milos Forman (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) to direct," he says. "We're working on a script with the English writer Glenn Wilhide." Schuhly plans to shoot the film in 2005, probably in Morocco where the action sequences of Stone's picture are being filmed.

For the "Alexander" film, he says that two weeks have been completed. "We're shooting for 87 days, which must be some kind of record. We've built huge sets, and we had literally trains full of props," the producer said, promising some of the biggest battle scenes ever seen on the big screen.

"Alexander" stars Colin Farrell in the title role, with Angelina Jolie and Val Kilmer as the Macedonian general's parents. Anthony Hopkins will narrate.

Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role of NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons in the XXX sequel, joining Ice Cube to star in the Revolution Studios sequel. Lee Tamahori is directing the film next summer for a 2005 release by Sony.

Cube replaced Vin Diesel in the lead role and Revolution is now looking to instill continuity through an encore performance from Jackson. Agent Gibbons returns as the handler of the incorrigible agent drafted to tackle unsavory thugs around the world.

Jackson has also reprised his role of Jedi knight Mace Windu in George Lucas' Star Wars: Episode III.
